UKCPS Membership and How to Join
Join the UK Coloured Pencil Society and you receive the following benefits!
- A joining pack including coloured pencil information sheets and guides
- Access to our own Yahoo Discussion Group, where you can share tips, techniques, etc. with fellow coloured pencil users.
- A quarterly newsletter with features about members, tips, techniques, materials and all matter cp - and lots of stunning pictures of cp work
- Online access to newsletter archive in member's area on this website
- Easy access to workshops in cp given by our members
- Updates on UKCPS News from our own Blog
- A local group to join in your area (where available - see webpage for details)
- Your own free webpage in our Members' Galleries, to show your work, advertise yourself, your work, shops, cards, etc - for Full Members only.
- Entitlement to submit pure cp works free to an annual juried exhibition, with press coverage, prizes from our sponsors - Full Members only.
- Entitlement to submit works to our mixed media Exhibition each year
- Upon request, a directory of other cp artists whom you may call on for help
Signature Membership
Signature status may be awarded to Full Members accepted into the Open International Exhibition as follows:
1) 3 times entitles members to use the initials "UKCPS" after their name.
2) Pictures accepted into the Open International Exhibition on 5 different occasions: silver signature status. On 10 different occasions: gold signature status. On 15 different occasions: diamond signature status. On 20 different occasions: platinum signature status.
If a signature status member of any level does not have continuous full membership of the society the award will be forfeited. There is no time limit on which the different levels must be obtained.

We accept payment via cheque/check (these must be in UK Pounds only), or online via Paypal when a small charge is added to cover our costs.

In other words, this option is mainly designed for artists who do not need the web page, and who will probably not submit pictures for the Annual exhibition.
Life membership is now available - £350 for under 60 years age, £250 for over 60's.
