My love of mountains and landscape has inspired me to walk and discover such places as Snowdonia and the Peak District. The subject I chose was a walk that leads up the mountain of Moel Siabod in Snowdonia, although I was told about the quarry I was not expecting it to be such a fascinating subject. The unusual rock forms are the reason for making the drawing.
