This is one of eight pieces I completed for an RHS exhibition in Birmingham in June of this year. The theme was fruit on the bough with blossom and a dissection of the fruit. The set took almost a year to finish but it was worth it as I was awarded a gold medal. Others in the set were Peach, Pear, Damson, Apple, Quince, Cherry and Plum.
