This meconopsis is a reasonably rare flower in that it is very hard to cultivate. From seed I managed to get just one plant out of many ‘babies’ to grow in a corner of my garden. I’d forgotten all about it until I stumbled across it one morning, fresh with the early morning dew so I just couldn’t resist.
