For my friend’s birthday I offered to do a portrait of her Labrador ‘Tess’ as a gift. I took my camera up to her house and spent many visits trying to get a good shot. Tess had a way of giving you a certain look that guaranteed she would get a treat, and that is the moment I managed to capture. When my friend saw the resulting artwork she laughed and said I had got her just right.
