Pencils: Derwent Aquatone woodless crayons
Support: wooden panels prepared with several coats of white acrylic gesso and sanded to a smooth surface.
When finished, they are given a coat of clear matt artist's quality varnish.

Waiting in a ditch by a roadside in the French Auvergne area for around 20 mins,
eventually resulted in the composition I was looking for.
