I have always loved art, but finding my own style and 'perfect' medium have always been a problem.I have tried nearly everything, Acrylic, Oil, Watercolour etc.  But I suppose these have been a stop gap until I found 'the one'.  And I believe that I have, with Polychromos coloured pencils.

I have lived all my life in East London, and inspiration was never far away.  London is lucky enough to host many art galleries, and fantastic historical buildings, not to mention a diverse selection of wildlife.  And closer to home, from a small age I loved trying capture on paper the exotic birds that my family keep.

As far as qualifications go, I have acquired my art GCSE, and that is it.  I am completely self taught, and am proud of that fact!  All I want for the future is for my art to improve and gain that 'professional look' that I crave.

The artist that has inspired me most has got to be Franz Marc.  I love the way he tamed those vibrant colours and went on to find his own personal style after years of searching.  That thought has given me patience as I search for my own.
