I
was born in West Yorkshire in 1981 and from a very young age I loved
to draw. I graduated in 2003 with a Fine Arts degree from the
University of Leeds
where I focused mainly on black and white darkroom photography.
Since
buying my digital camera, I
have found that I take it with me where ever I go especially on my
trips to the coast – the inspiration for my next drawings.
I
only discovered coloured pencils as a serious
medium 2 years ago and have only just finished my second ever drawing.
My first ever drawing (India)
happened to be my first ever commission and I hope to have many more. I
have found this to be my favourite medium and hope to improve as I
become more familiar with using it.
