Margarat Murdoch

I was born in Sheffield in 1936 and now live in Altrincham, Cheshire. I did not start to take art seriously until about five years ago when I joined a local “Art Class” where I was fortunate enough to be tutored by Gillian French. I started with watercolours and have also tried acrylics but drawing and coloured pencil work gives me the most pleasure.

Although I am very much an amateur, I have executed a small number of commissions with both watercolours and coloured pencils.

My favourite subjects are animals and floral subjects.
