Each
year for the past five years we have been guests of the Cumberland
Pencil Museum, at Keswick in Cumbria, for our Coloured
Pencils and Mixed Media exhibition. The rules for this exhibition are
very different from our main one, and the aims are different also. In
this exhibition, pictures can be pure coloured pencil, or may use other
media as long as coloured pencils are the main medium. It is also NOT a
juried exhibition, pictures being selected on a first-come basis. This
means that it reflects, much more than our main exhibition, the range
of abilities within the Society, from beginners to professionals. The
display below shows the pictures that were hung this year,
with the
prizewinners first listed. As usual, clicking on the small images will
lead to bigger ones.

(goods to be donated by Derwent) was voted on by all visitors to the Museum
during the month of June.
