At college (teacher training) I started oil painting. After retirement I did part time ’Illuminated Manuscripts’ and ‘Graphics’ at Canterbury. Following a road accident whilst living in Anglesey I became wheelchair bound. In Dorchester I attended a Botanical watercolour course, and in January 2008 followed this using oils in the same subject. At this time I started using coloured pencils to do designs and read about the US pencil artists. Since January I have become hooked as they are ideal for a disabled artist. Then I discovered the UKCPS.
