Inspired by the pure power of colour I began this illustration creating an abstract background, from which I then developed a composition. The warm glowing colours I had created suggested a tropical climate. Into this I drew an abstract form of a tiger emerging and blending into the vivid colours of the landscape, the tiger being a comparative symbol of strength in power and colour.
