I
have been using Polychromos cps for about three years. Coloured-pencil
work is largely unknown as a fine-arts medium here in New Zealand.
Those 'professional artists
I have spoken to have commented that the medium 'is too hard
to use'!
As
a relief from the brain-burning which cp work entails,
I sketch with graphite, chalk-pastel, and the odd lump of
charcoal. A recently-acquired digital camera has added great impetus to
my efforts.
