Susan Goodall

I was born in 1955 in Whitby and still live in the town,a self taught artist painting in various media for a number of years. In 2002 I retired from my dress making business to concentrate on art full time.I have been very creative over the years designing, toys, wedding attire, and greeting cards. From an early age I have loved drawing and detailed work spending many hours sketching. Whilst browsing the net one night I came across some remarkable images created in colour pencils.I couldn’t wait to try them myself so bought pencils, paper and set to work. I have been hooked ever since.

Hardly a day goes by that I haven’t picked up my pencils and would recommend anyone interested to give them a go. Recently I have undertaken portraits of adults, children and pets which are my favorite subjects. From the pet portraits I donate five pounds for every commission taken to a local rescue centre and planning to raise money for the air ambulance in the same way from my human portraits.
