really love flowers, draw them a lot and
normally tend to focus on the blooms. What I really like about these
peonies is
the fact you cannot see the blooms at all - you can only see the
'potential' in
those tight spherical buds which look as if they are just about to
burst. I was
also really attracted by the colour of the subject matter. It appears
simple to
start with and the more you look the more you see the 'tricks' of the
colour
patterns which make you want to look.
