I have always
loved Meerkats, their
characters are captivating and this pose of the two just asked to be
drawn.
Just like a couple of girls posing and looking for attention from the
boys. The
back lighting made the image even more appealing and interesting.
I
once again used drafting film for this
drawing.....fast becoming my favourite support for coloured
pencils. I
used Karismacolour pencils in a selection of brown, ochres and lavender
for the
animals and very dark greens and blues for the background.
