I could not
resist this young Afghan
hound, he had such a happy expression on his face that I just had to
draw him.
I loved working on the hair and seeing the different colours in amongst
the
strands.
I
used drafting film for this drawing. I
find I can achieve beautifully rich, velvety colours
on this, I think
it makes a wonderful support for coloured pencils.
The pencils I used
were a selection of Karismacolour in browns, ochres and greys, with
purple and
blues and pinks as well as black and white.
